In
order to comply with the European Union (EU) Directive on Distance
Selling, the following Terms & Conditions must be agreed to
before your order can be processed.

Payment Options:
Payment in full must accompany the order. We accept payment by
cheque
(made out to Lake District Hampers) or by credit card (We currently
accept VISA, ACCESS/ MASTERCARD
and SWITCH and debit cards.) Please note that
if you choose to pay by cheque we will despatch the goods as soon
as possible after confirmation from our bank that your cheque
has cleared. Please note we currently use PAYPAL
or NOCHEX for clearing credit cards, both systems
are Secure for your piece of mind.

All
credit card numbers are encrypted in the Paypal or Nochex software,
Lake District Hampers.com do not see any of your credit cards
details, we only hold your full contact details and product choice.
(2.1)
Returns Procedure: Lake District Hampers.com
makes every effort to ensure hampers arrive in perfect condition.
However, in the unlikely event of a hamper not being delivered
within 14 days of placing an order customers should advise Lake
District Hampers.com. Lake District Hampers.com will make every
effort to locate the hamper, and if necessary, send a replacement
at our expense or provide a full refund.
(2.2)
If a hamper arrives damaged in any way, customers
should contact Lake District Hampers.com within
3 days of receipt. In this case Lake District Hampers.com will,
depending upon our customers' preference, arrange for the damaged
hamper or item(s) to be picked up by our Carriers and returned
to the company. Lake District Hampers.com will either send a replacement
hamper or replacement items, upon confirmation that the damaged
items have been returned via our Carriers.
(3)
Substitutions: Whilst every effort will
be made to supply the items as specified, the contents of Hampers
are subject to availability. Lake District Hampers.com reserves
the right to substitute items of similar or higher value, where
appropriate, should the need arise.
(4)
Guarantee of Quality: Lake District Hampers.com
guarantees that all products contained in our Hampers are of the
highest quality, that all manufacturers/suppliers have signed
Certificates of Assurance that their products meet current EU
legislation standards. Some hampers contain fresh food items which
should be refrigerated on arrival.
(5)
Refunds: Refunds for valid claims will
be made via the same credit card used to place order.
(6)
Delivery Method & Times: Deliveries
within the United Kingdom are made within 7 working days by our
Carriers. Lake District Hampers.com will make every effort to
dispatch orders on the day of receipt.
(7)
Delivery Charges: These are not included
within the cost of the hampers, as part of the process of submitting
an order you will need to check the correct delivery option box.
(8)
Application of Value Added Tax (VAT):
VAT is included in the cost of each hamper, where applicable.
(9)
Order Confirmations: Upon submitting an
order using our automated shopping cart system you will receive
a confirmation e-mail. In the unlikely event of us being unable
to fulfil an order placed (due to having sold out of a hamper
or hampers selected), we will advise you by the first working
day following receipt of that order. If payment has been made
on an order that we are unable to fulfil we will immediately refund
payment by the same method as the payment made.

Retention of Title: This remains with
Lake District Hampers.com until the goods are paid for in full.

Please note that customers may be contacted
by Lake District Hampers.com by email to remind them about special
events such as Valentines and Mothers Day, should you not wish
to receive such emails you may choose to opt out during the ordering

Alcohol: Only persons legally permitted
to do so, by local licensing regulations, may order Hampers containing
alcohol.

Unforeseen Circumstances: While every
effort will be made to meet shoppers demands, cancellations or
variations may be necessary as a result of Act of God, War, Strike,
Lockout, Labour Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought or other causes
beyond the control of Lake District Hampers.com.
